b. 3.2 – Review and revised budget estimate from Task 2.2 based on direction <br />from Task 2. <br />c. 3.3 – Provide review documents for appropriate review by Building Official <br />and others as necessary, revise as needed to meet code. <br />d. 3.4 – Include sustainable/energy savings features to be included in the final <br />design. Be prepared to coordinate with other consultants as needed <br />regarding sustainable/energy savings features. <br />e. 3.5 – Prepare a phasing plan for demolition of the existing facility and <br />construction to minimize the impact to public works operations, insure <br />security of facility and safety of the staff. <br /> <br />4. Task 4.0 – Prepare bid documents for advertisement and final estimate. <br />a. 4.1 – Prepare final, signed bid documents (plans and specifications) for <br />advertisement for public bidding process. <br />b. 4.2 – Provide final estimate based on bidding documents. <br /> <br />5. Task 5.0 – Advertising and Bidding. <br />a. 5.1 – Consultant shall be prepared to advertise project publically in the local <br />paper, a trade publication and other avenues as appropriate to seek the <br />maximum number of bidders. <br />b. 5.2 – Assist with questions during bidding process and issue addendums as <br />needed for clarification during the bidding process. <br />c. 5.3 – Attend bid opening and tabulate and review bids. <br />d. 5.4 – Provide recommendation regarding awarding of contract to appropriate <br />bidder. <br /> <br />6. Task 6.0 – Construction <br />a. 6.1 – Attend preconstruction conference. <br />b. 6.2 – Conduct regular site observations and attend construction progress <br />meetings during construction. <br />c. 6.3 – Conduct other actions as necessary under architect/engineer duties (i.e. <br />review submittals and shop drawings, review payment requests, answer <br />requests for information, approve installed work in regards to conformance <br />with bid documents and other duties as needed). <br />d. 6.4 – Provide final as-built documentation in both hard copy (1 each) and <br />electronic format (both .pdf and AutoCAD). <br /> <br />V.
