SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: <br />All proposals shall be sent to: <br /> Brian Erickson, P.E. <br /> Public Works Director/City Engineer <br /> 2401 County Road 10 <br /> Mounds View, MN 55112 <br /> <br />Proposals shall be submitted prior to 2:00 P.M. (CDT), April 15, 2016. Electronic <br />submission is acceptable; however proposals shall be submitted in portable document <br />format (i.e. .pdf), and be no larger than 20 pages in length. <br /> <br />VII. PROJECT SCHEDULE: <br />March 14, 2016 – City Council approves the Request for Proposals (RPF) for Design <br />Services. <br />March 15, 201 – Staff forwards the RFP to selected consultants. <br />April 15, 2016 – Consultants return RFP to the City. Staff reviews and will make a <br />recommendation for award. <br />May 9, 2016 – City Council approves selected consultant for award. <br />May 16, 2016 – Kick off meeting with consultant. <br />November 2016 – Design complete. <br />December 2016 – Advertisement for bids for construction. <br />Early 2017 – Award construction contract. <br />Late 2017 – Construction complete. <br /> <br />Note: This schedule is tentative and dependent upon City staff availability and need for <br />reviews by outside agencies. <br /> <br />VIII. PROPOSAL CONTENTS: <br />Respondents shall limit their proposals to no more than 20 pages (single sided). Additional <br />pages may be added; however, staff may or may not review this information based on <br />workload. <br /> <br />As a minimum proposals shall contain: <br />1. Restatement of the project goals, insuring that consultant thoroughly understands the <br />project. <br /> <br />2. Experience performing similar sized designs <br />a. Submit a minimum of three (3) similar facilities completed within the last 5 years <br />and include: <br />i. Name of project <br />ii. Client contact <br />iii. Initial and final budget <br />iv. Date of bid <br />v. Actual or scheduled completion date <br />b. Describe any energy savings or sustainable construction techniques that were <br />included in these projects. <br /> <br />3. Work plan/schedule including milestones for completing the design. <br />a. Plan for the following minimum number of meetings during design:
