ADMINISTRATOR REPORT
Page 3

Western Bank Cindy Carlson I have worked at our Mounds View office for nearly
24 years. Since the name changed to County Rd 10
(or County Highway 10)….we have had numerous
times when people have had trouble figuring out how
to get to our office. I personally support the name
change, and I like the name that is being proposed.
Mounds View KinderCare Teresa Stanley Good idea.
MinnPar LLC Donald C. Kemp Mounds View Boulevard would be PERFECT!
Mounds View Branch
Library
Frances Veit I talked this over with the deputy director of the
library system, and she and I both think it's a good
idea.
Radio City Dan Fish I can live with either. The damage has been done as
the consumers have learned the new route and the
current name of "County 10"
DealSmart Bob Bushey Absolutely! "Mounds View Boulevard" should be the
name. The signage on 35W with over 100,000 traffic
count per day will help tremendously in directing
people to the Great City of Mounds View. Without
that Branding there are many people who have no
idea where Mounds View is located even though
35W runs right through it. I am very encouraged that
the name you chose is not "Northtown Blvd". The
potential increase in traffic will benefit all Mounds
View businesses and especially those adjacent to
the highway. The confusion caused by the "Hwy 10"
vs "County Hwy 10" would be eliminated. Bravo!
Magno International Michael R. Pastien I’d vote for Mounds View Boulevard.
BioLife Tonia Smith We are somewhat impartial to the change. If the
name does change, we would incur a small cost to
change the address to our marketing material,
letterhead, etc. We would also have to contact our
regulatory agencies to ensure they have the updated
address. For ease, I would say leave it as County Rd
10, but we will ultimately support what the town
wants.
Mounds View Animal
Hospital
Bruce Schnabel I would be in favor of the name change of the
highway as we do have some occasional issues with
some of our mail/correspondence (even the IRS
can't seem to figure it out !) It does not have any
effect on our clientele obviously since they know
where we are located.
Quanex Steve Pisca Calling Cty. Road 10, Mounds View Boulevard would
be fine by us here at the Mounds View location of
Quanex Building Products. As it sits today it does
confuse truckers, new hires, guests, and out of town
employees coming to visit our facility since the Hwy
10 and Cty Rd 10 are so close and obviously the
same number.
Bel Rae Good idea, that will make it easier for our residents
and their visitor to find them.
Pro Guard Great idea—our trucks get lost all the time.
Allegiance fitness Good idea, good name.
Fastenal Good name and idea, we have customers that are
lost every day. Map apps do not recognize our
address.
