Mr. Marty stated the other issue being dealt with was the comprehensive plan. <br /> Mr. Whiting stated most of the work last week was centered on the airport legislation. Mr. <br /> Whiting publicly thanks communications coordinator Tracy Sanchez, whose last day was last <br /> Friday, she is now working at the County Attorneys'office. An ad has been put out for <br /> replacement position. Mr. Whiting stated the Mounds View Matters contains the list of all the <br /> direct lines for staff at City Hall. <br /> City Attorney (Scott Riggs): City Attorney passed on one comment from Bob Long, who is on <br /> vacation this week, involving the airport legislative effort. Citizen involvement is very crucial <br /> and will be needed in the next month to make sure that City Council is successful. <br /> 6. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Mayor Coughlin asks the Council if anyone would like to remove items for discussion. <br /> Mr. Marty stated he would like to remove item B. <br /> Motion/Second: Marty/Thomason. To approve consent agenda for items A, B, and C. <br /> Ayes -4. Nays-O. <br /> Mayor Coughlin requests discussion on resolution 5327, approval of purchase of truck for the <br /> golf course. <br /> Mr. Stigney stated he has asked several questions of Chuck Whiting regarding some things about <br /> the golf course and the truck, and stated he has not received answers yet. Mr. Stigney stated a <br /> need to look into this a little more deeper, not just what the truck needs, but what the cost is, and <br /> what we are really doing with it. Also, as far as where we stand financially. Mr. Stigney <br /> requested postponing any decision on this particular resolution until it is discussed further in a <br /> work session. <br /> Mr. Marty adds he would like to apologize to the Council, he had to leave for medical emergency <br /> room of his son at the last meeting where this was discussed <br /> Motion/Second: Stigney/Marty. Postpone resolution 5327. <br /> Mr. Hammerschmidt stated a year ago as we were going through the problems involving the soil <br /> at the golf course we decided on certain remedies that were going to take a ten-year period of <br /> time. At that time, we purchased a lot of equipment to facilitate these remedies in the soil.
