. <br /> OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER <br /> PERSONNEL DIVISION <br /> CITYOF <br /> FRIDLEY <br /> o � v T E 9CT 0 o <br /> .5f ar�i�4 <br /> POSITION TITLE: City Clerk/Records Manager $37,229 <br /> DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Finance Department <br /> REPORTS TO: Finance Director <br /> POSITION OBJECTIVE: Perform all City Clerk functions including <br /> administration of elections, direction of comprehensive records management <br /> program and supervision of occupational licensing functions. <br /> ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: <br /> 1. Oversee City's comprehensive records management program: compliance <br /> with State retention and data privacy requirements, administration of annual <br /> clean-up days and coordination of document imaging project. <br /> 2. Plan, prepare and conduct elections, including the recruitment, training and <br /> scheduling of election judges. <br /> 3. Administer preparation, maintenance, filing and publication of official records,, <br /> documents,resolutions, ordinances and city code. <br /> 4. Provide information assistance to City staff and to the public, serving as a <br /> resource for the release of information in compliance with the Minnesota <br /> Data Practices Act. <br /> 5. Administer issuance and renewal of occupational licenses such as liquor, <br /> cigarette, dog and gambling premise permits. <br /> 6. Perform activities in the development and monitoring of City Clerk's Division <br /> budget. <br /> 7. Serve as City staff liaison to the Charter Commission. <br /> 8. Supervise Operator/License Clerk, Records Assistant, and an occasional <br /> summer intern. <br /> 9.
