AGREEMENT FOR BUILDING INSPECTION SERVICES <br /> This Agreement, made and entered into this day of , 1999, by and <br /> between the CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA, a municipal corporation, 2401 <br /> Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112, (hereinafter referred to as the "Municipality") and the <br /> SPRING LAKE PARK-BLAINE-MOUNDS VIEW FIRE DEPARTMENT, INC., a Minnesota <br /> non-profit corporation(hereinafter referred to as the"Fire Department"). <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Department is located in the Cities of Mounds View, Spring Lake <br /> Park and Blaine, Minnesota, and maintains a fully equipped volunteer fire department which is <br /> willing to provide building inspection services to the City of Mounds View; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Municipality wishes to receive building inspection and plan review <br /> services from the Fire Department; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the representations, warranties and mutual <br /> covenants contained herein, and the considerations hereinafter set forth, the parties hereto agree <br /> as follows: <br /> ARTICLE I. PURPOSE <br /> The Fire Department agrees to provide building inspection and plan review services <br /> within the corporate limits of the Municipality to the extent and in the manner as hereinafter set <br /> forth. <br /> ARTICLE II. TERM <br /> This Agreement applies to all building inspection services provided by the Fire <br /> Department for the Municipality commencing April 1, 1999 until December 31, 2001. This <br /> Agreement shall continue in effect until terminated or amended. <br /> ARTICLE III. SERVICES <br /> The Municipality agrees to purchase and the Fire Department agrees to furnish the <br /> following services for the City of Mounds View: <br /> 3.1 Fire Department agrees to answer all calls for building inspection, plan review <br /> and site review by sending out building inspection personnel as soon as practical to such areas <br /> designated and requested by the City. <br /> 3.2 All portions of the City shall be designated on a map which shall be supplied to <br /> the Fire Department. <br />
