This plow will be <br /> used to clean some trailways, help with existing plowing equipment for City Hall and the <br /> Community Center, Cul-de-sacs, Golf Course and Well houses. Budgeted in 1999 for the Public <br /> Works Facility was a portable vehicle lift for$3,500.00. The particular style lift that was <br /> requested and budgeted for is no longer available. Similar lifts will not provided the benefit of <br /> the earlier choice of staff. <br /> Staff requests authority from Council to utilize the $3,500.00 budgeted for the vehicle lift plus <br /> $1,000.00 from the 1999 Water Capital Equipment fund to purchase this plow in 1999 and <br /> subsequently eliminate the budget request for the year 2000.
