MEMO <br /> To: Chuck Whiting, City Administrator <br /> From: Chief Ramacher <br /> Subject: Murzyn Liquor Store <br /> Date: June 10, 1998 <br /> In the last month, I have been in contact with you regarding liquor law violations occurring at <br /> Murzyn Liquor Store, 2840 highway 10. The following is a synopsis of those violations: <br /> CASE#1 <br /> 5-8-98, A 17yr old male bought a case of beer from a female clerk. The juvenile <br /> male stated he was not asked for an ID. The Juvenile was charged with purchasing/possession of <br /> alcohol. Rose Marie Le(female clerk)was charged with an ordinance violation of selling liquor <br /> to a minor. Disposition pending. <br /> CASE#2 <br /> 5-23-98,A 19 yr old male bought four 12 packs of beer from a female clerk. The <br /> male stated he showed the clerk an ID the showed he was 19 yrs old. The 19 yr old was charged <br /> with possession of alcohol. Rose Marie Le (female clerk) was charged with a gross <br /> misdemeanor, selling alcohol to a person under 21 years of age. Disposition pending. <br /> CASE#3 <br /> 6-6-98,A 16 yr old male bought beer and wine coolers from a female clerk. The <br /> male stated that he use his brother ID. His brother is 21 yr old. The Juvenile was charged with <br /> possession of alcohol. Charges pending on female clerk. <br /> Attached to this memo is the case files of the above listed cases. Please notify and share this <br /> information with the City Council so that they can take the appropriate action. Please contact me <br /> if you have any comments or would like additional information. <br />
