CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> ' CITY COUNCIL AND ADMINISTRATOR <br /> 1998 LEADERSHIP - TEAM BUILDING RETREAT <br /> ' I INTRODUCTION <br /> ' The mayor, city council, and city administrator of the City of Mounds View held a <br /> Leadership - Team Building Retreat on January 24, 1998. The retreat was held <br /> at the city's municipal golf course (The Bridges). The retreat facilitator was Don <br /> 1 Salverda, President of Donald Salverda & Associates of Roseville, Minnesota. <br /> Participants at the retreat were: <br /> Duane McCarty Mayor <br /> or <br /> Sheri Gunn Council Member <br /> Gary Quick Council Member <br /> Roger Stigney Council Member <br /> 1 Roger Koopmeiners Council Member <br /> ' Chuck Whiting City Administrator <br /> The primary objectives of the retreat were: <br /> 1 1) To review progress being made by the city <br /> 2) To build on the 1997 Council - Department Head Retreat <br /> ' <br /> 3) To enhance communication and develop team spirit among <br /> ' participants <br /> 4) To discuss ways that the council can operate more effectively <br /> 1 5) To develop updated consensus on major issues and opportunities <br /> facing the city (one - three year perspective) <br /> ' 6) To develop an Updated Goals Program for the city (one - three year <br /> perspective) <br /> 1 <br />
