Understanding the differences in styles of behavior helps <br /> identify and minimize potential conflict areas and maximize the strengths of each <br /> style. <br /> 1 <br /> XI CLARIFYING ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> ' Participants reviewed and discussed the major roles and responsibilities of the <br /> city council, individual council members, the mayor, the city administrator, and <br /> department heads. <br /> See Attachment F for the Listing <br /> of major roles and responsibilities <br /> ' <br /> XII REVIEW OF THE CITY'S MISSION I SION AND VISION, AND DEVELOPMENT OF <br /> ' A CITY VALUES STATEMENT <br /> Participants felt that there is a need to review and possibly re-write of the city's <br /> ' Mission and Vision Statements. Participants discussed the need for a city <br /> Values Statement that reflects the spirit of the city and defines the core values <br /> that guide the day-to-day activities of the city's work force.
