1 <br /> ' XIII ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE QUESTIONNAIRE <br /> Participants each filled out an Organizational Climate Questionnaire indicating <br /> their perceptions as to where the city is "currently at" and where it "ought to be" <br /> in seven dimensions. Participants indicated that there is room for improvement <br /> in a number of areas. <br /> See Attachment H for the summary <br /> of the Organizational Climate Questionnaire <br /> XIV CLOSING REMARKS <br /> The retreat concluded with the facilitator challenging the participants to make a <br /> positive impact in their leadership roles. He pointed out the interdependency of <br /> ' the council members, the city administrator, and the department heads, and the <br /> need to be mission and goal driven. He further challenged participants to be <br /> continuous learners, to accept and appreciate diversity, to be team players, and <br /> to focus on the "big picture." <br /> Mayor Duane McCarty closed the session by thanking the facilitator for <br /> ' organizing and leading the retreat and the council members for attending and <br /> participating. <br /> ' XV EVALUATION OF THE RETREAT AND PARTICIPANT'S COMMENTS <br /> The retreat was very well received by participants with an overall rating of 4.0 <br /> ' on a scale of 1 = low and 5 = high. <br /> I See Attachment I for the <br /> he Retreat and Participant's Comments <br /> I <br /> 1 <br /> e <br /> 1 6 <br />
