AUG 08 '96 00:38 KENNEDY & GRAVEN <br /> RESOLUTION NOP • <br /> OS <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE <br /> CODE VIOLATIONS LOCATED AT 7685 KNOLL WOOD <br /> DRIVE, MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA, 55112. <br /> WHEREAS, William Pearson is the person listed as the taxpayer for the pro located <br /> at 7685 Knollwood Drive, Moundsview, Minnesota 55112 (the Property) on theeCo <br /> Ramsey's tax records; and P rt3') County of <br /> WHEREAS, William Pearson is responsible for maintaining nuisance code violations o <br /> the Property that include but are not limited to: n <br /> 1. Iarge wood accumulations that are not stacked; <br /> 2. automobile parts and doors scattered on the Property; <br /> 3. garbage bag accumulations; and <br /> 111 <br /> 4. abandoned and junk vehicles with expired license plates(license numbers Magoo- <br /> 1, 220 JXH, 129 EKW, 869 EZE, 763 EVN), as well as additional abandoned and <br /> junk vehicles that either did not have license plate numbers or whose numbers <br /> were not visible; and <br /> WHEREAS, in a Ietter dated June 7, 1996 from the City of Mounds View <br /> notified William Pearson that the conditions on his property constituted nuisance violatia io s an) <br /> ons and <br /> required him to remove such nuisances or have all the nuisance code violations remedied by June <br /> 28, 1996; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City reinspected the Property <br /> violations described above continue to remain on te on Jly 30, 1996 and determined that <br /> Property despite the earlier notification of <br /> violations by the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, in a letter dated July 30, 1996, the City notified William Pearson that the <br /> code violations on the Property constituted a public nuisance and that the City Council would <br /> consider abating the nuisance on the.Property at the August 12, 1996 City Council Meeting; and <br /> 8� <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that nuisance code violations at 7685 Knollwood <br /> constitute public health and safety hazards which the City may abate and assess the costs of as <br /> special assessments against the Property pursuant to Minn.
