► A preconstruction meeting was held on July 25, regarding the Bronson Drive <br /> Reconstruction Project. Many questions and issues were addressed, contact names and <br /> telephone numbers were given out, and a tentative schedule was disbursed stating start and <br /> completion dates of tasks. (See attached) <br /> ► A second letter was drafted and hand delivered to Barb Matelsky, 4949 Old Highway 8 <br /> regarding the relocation process. "Notice of Relocation Eligibility"was delivered on <br /> July 25 to Ms. Matelsky explaining next procedures and how they were determined. <br /> (See attached) <br /> ► The Streets Department continues to patch and sweep to ready the roads for slurry sealing. <br /> This will begin August 5 with a completion date of August 14. (This of course, depends <br /> on the weather.) Residents will receive a notice 24 hours prior to their road being sealed, <br /> asking them to park on the street because travel will not be allowed during the curing <br /> period(24 hrs). The Police Department have been notified that street parking will occur <br /> during this time and possibly with Bronson Reconstruction. <br /> ► Best of Luck to Roger in his retirement! <br /> Tracy <br /> POLICE <br /> • As of August 1st, Bob Nelson returned to the Patrol and Tom Kinney moved into • <br /> investigations. Bob did a terrific job in investigations but he was also anxious to get back <br /> to patrol duties. <br /> • We finished all the pre-employment requirements on our newest officer. A staff report will <br /> be presented at the August 12th Council meeting. Pending approval,the starting date <br /> should be on August 26. <br /> • Dave Brick attended an Emergency Services seminar this week. Reed K. and Jerry J. have <br /> been on vacation. <br /> • ITS OFFICIAL """!!""" Roger is gone. A couple of parties were\are planned to bid <br /> farewell. Thanks for the memories. Roger was a good cop and good friend. HE WILL BE <br /> MISSED. <br /> Tim <br />
