• There was a very well qualified pool of interview candidates for Community <br /> Development Director and Finance Director. The interviewing team has come to a point <br /> where the candidates have been narrowed down, and background/reference checks will <br /> soon be taking place. It's exciting to think that two new people may be on-board in a <br /> month! <br /> Dawn <br /> As you all know, I have submitted my resignation effective June 18. I will be traveling some <br /> with Jack over the next few months as he has 26 locals in northern Minnesota. Just taking the <br /> summer off. I will become a full time student next fall majoring in 999999 <br /> I want to thank the Council for the support it has shown me over my twelve years with the <br /> City. Being born and raised in the City and having the privilege of being employed by the <br /> City has been a fulfilling experience for me. I have witnessed many significant, positive <br /> accomplishments in my twelve years of employment. <br /> Michele <br /> An advertisement for the receptionist/switchboard operator was placed in Sunday, May 26, 1996 <br /> publication of the Star Tribune. To date we have received approximately 20 applications. The <br /> deadline for accepting applications is Friday, June 7. A special thanks to Marjorie who has been <br /> a great asset in providing coverage during the interim period. <br /> Results from the Spring Clean Up day show this year's event was a success. The breakdown of <br /> dropped off recyclable materials is as follows: <br /> Total#of tires: 395 <br /> Total#of Non-Freon appliances: 142 <br /> Total#of Freon appliances: 33 <br /> Total#of Batteries 72 <br /> Demolition: 20 tons <br /> Mixed trash: 6.5 tons <br /> Tree Branches: 2 tons <br /> Lynnette <br />
