PUBLIC WORKS <br /> • The Streets Department along with 4 of the new seasonals, are cracksealing and/or <br /> patching potholes. <br /> • The Sewer Department continues to televise the sewer mains. And as usual, if roots are <br /> found protruding from an individuals sewer line, pictures are taken and letters are sent <br /> explaining our findings. We have had positive feed back from those residents that received <br /> this information. Very appreciative. <br /> • The Water Department continues to perform the daily maintenance of the Wells and <br /> Treatment Plants. <br /> • WaterPro will have their installers here June 6, 7, 8 to troubleshoot those MIUs that aren't <br /> working properly. Out of 36 letters sent to those that did not respond to the original <br /> request(s)to troubleshoot their MIUs, only 14 have made appointments. <br /> • Tim Pittman attended a"Motor Vehicle Inspector Class" on June 5. (This is for an update <br /> of the certification on his Commercial Vehicle Inspectors License.) <br /> • Mark swept the parade route for the City of Spring Lake Park, June 5. They are having <br /> "Tower Days"this weekend. <br /> • And of course,we are sorry to hear that Michele is leaving us. We will miss you. <br /> Tracy <br /> POLICE <br /> • Dave Brick is attending an Emergency Management School for three days this week. He <br /> will be back on Friday. <br /> ♦ We had an officer attend a Safety Fair at Multi-Tech on Wednesday. <br /> • The Chief met with Edgewood School officials to discuss the future of DARE at the <br /> Junior High. <br />
