Voicemails are checked every morning by 1130am. <br />If a participant does not call in, we attempt to contact them and conduct a welfare <br />check if necessary. This program allows our participants to feel more at ease living <br />on their own. If an incident occurs such as a fall where they are unable to call for <br />help, they know we will be checking in on them. <br />We initially started with only 3 people in the SAVE program last quarter, but have <br />now grown to 7 members. We also offer quarterly meetings to our participants where <br />we provide snacks and refreshments and discuss relevant information regarding <br />safety, our community and get to know new members of the program. <br />All members have expressed how much they love the program, and I only hope to <br />gain more participants as time goes on and word of the program spreads. <br />
