<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8677 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE “USE OF BODY WORN CAMERAS” POLICY AND <br />DATA RETENTION SCHEDULE <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and approved the Body Worn Camera Policy <br />and data retention schedule at its work session on December 5, 2016; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has made copies of both the draft policy as <br />well as data retention schedule available for public view on social media and on the city <br />website, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View promotes citizen input and have allowed for <br />public comments on electronic survey, social media, in person, and by mail, fulfilling <br />Minnesota statutory requirements, <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL <br />THAT the policy for “Use of Body Worn Cameras” and data retention shall be adopted and <br />implemented by Mounds View Police Department. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of December 2016. <br /> <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Joe Flaherty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br />James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal) <br /> <br />
