The Council has
been supportive of both the policy and purchase of equipment.

Discussion:

Staff has received quotes from Watchguard body worn cameras for both cameras and
related equipment which were discussed at the December 5, 2016 work session.
Watchguard cameras have been tested and are the recommended cameras due to
their performance, durability, and ability to synchronize with our existing squad
cameras.
