<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mounds View Community Center <br /> <br /> <br />HVAC <br />Replace Rooftop Units 3,5,6,7. RTU’s 3, 5, and 7 will be replaced with like for like higher <br />efficiency units. RTU 6 has been resized to match the cooling load needs and will be replaced <br />with a smaller 50 ton unit including dehumidification. The Kitchen Make Up Air Unit will be <br />replaced with like for like size unit. All units have 5 year parts and labor warranty coverage. <br />Cottonwood Screens will be added on ALL rooftop units upon completion of replacing the <br />proposed RTU’s. The existing BAS components serving the existing rooftop units (RTU 3,5,6, <br />7) and VAV’s will be upgraded to integrate into the Trane SC system. New CO2 and room <br />sensors will match those completed in previous upgrade projects. The new Kitchen Make Up Air <br />unit and (5) existing exhaust fans will be added to the Trane BAS system. Custom programming <br />and scheduling will be completed in the Trane SC system for optimal energy savings. The <br />Tracer ES server will be installed and graphics will be updated to include an energy dashboard <br />for the City to display if desired. Trane will incorporate a permanent data logger to allow future <br />collection and trending of electrical data for future trending and analysis. Upon completion of the <br />building controls and rooftop unit phases the Air System will be balanced and verify that the <br />designed airflow is being delivered to each space. <br />RTU 3 will be saved for the owner to keep as a spare unit for future use. Trane will remove the <br />unit from the roof and place on a pallet and assist the city with transporting and storing the unit <br />at Public Works for future use. <br /> <br />Interior Lighting <br />Relamp, retrofit and/or replace all existing interior light fixtures with LED. As examples; fixtures <br />with 4’ T8 lamps will be retrofitted and relamped with 4’ LED tubes, Metal Halide fixtures will be <br />replaced with LED fixtures and incandescent fixtures will be relamped/ retrofitted with LED <br />lamps. The Event Center dimmer controllers will be upgraded to accommodate the operation of <br />the LED lights. All fixtures and bulbs will be approved by city representative. <br /> <br />Exterior Lighting <br />Replace and retrofit 5 wall pack lights and 19 parking lot pole lights with LED lamps and <br />equipment. All fixtures and bulbs will be approved by city representative. <br /> <br />40 kW Solar PV Rooftop System <br />Supply & install one 40 kW solar photovoltaic system on the roof of the Mound View Community <br />Center. This system includes 100 – 410 watt ten-K Solar manufactured; Minnesota made <br />modules as well as 100 reflector panels. This flat roof system is a non-penetrating system that is <br />ballasted and made to set on the existing roof system. The system includes micro inverters, a <br />production meter and all of the system operating components and equipment that are required <br />between the solar PV modules and the Xcel Energy meter. The system includes an online, real- <br />time production monitoring system. 10 year annual service inspections and cleaning will be <br />provided to ensure that the system is performing as designed and that all warranties are <br />applicable. A structural analysis will be conducted before the installation begins to ensure that <br />the roof and structure have the proper load ratings. The cities current roofing engineer (Inspect) <br />will be consulted about the solar panel system. <br /> <br />
