<br /> <br />Mounds View City Hall <br /> <br /> <br />HVAC <br />Trane will furnish and install an economizer on the existing Trane 15 ton Rooftop Unit and add <br />cottonwood Screens to all the existing Rooftop Units. The existing duct work and diffusers <br />located on the West side of the office will be modified to accommodate slot diffusers in place of <br />the square 2x2 lay ins to allow for better air flow in those spaces. In the boiler room the existing <br />hot water piping that is not insulated will be covered with fiberglass insulation to meet current <br />energy codes. The existing Trane Tracker system will be replaced with a Trane SC system <br />(same as Community Center) and integrated into the Trane SC system. New space and CO2 <br />sensors will be installed and new controllers will be installed on the existing VAV’s. New controls <br />will be added to the existing boilers to allow integration to the Trane SC controls. The existing <br />sump pump will be monitored by The Trane SC. Custom programming and scheduling will be <br />completed in the Trane SC system for optimal energy savings. The Tracer ES graphics will be <br />updated to include an energy dashboard for the City to display if desired. Trane will incorporate <br />a permanent data logger to allow future collection and trending of electrical data for future <br />trending and analysis. Upon completion of the duct and controls work an Air balance and Water <br />balance will be completed to verify that the designed air and hydronic flow is being delivered to <br />the spaces <br /> <br />Interior and Exterior <br />Relamp, retrofit and/or replace all existing interior and exterior light fixtures with LED and low <br />wattage fluorescent lamps. All existing 32 watt fluorescent fixtures will be relamped with low <br />wattage lamps, all interior recessed cans to be replaced with LED and all exterior poles and wall <br />packs to be replaced with LED equipment. All fixtures and bulbs will be approved by city <br />representative. <br /> <br />40 kW Solar PV Rooftop System <br />Supply & install one 40 kW solar photovoltaic system on the roof of the Mound View City Hall. <br />This system includes 100 – 410 watt ten-K Solar manufactured, Minnesota made modules as <br />well as 100 reflector panels. This flat roof system is a non-penetrating system that is ballasted <br />and made to set on the existing roof system. The system includes micro inverters, a production <br />meter and all of the system operating components and equipment that are required between the <br />solar PV modules and the Xcel Energy meter. The system includes an online, real-time <br />production monitoring system. 10 year annual service inspections and cleaning will be provided <br />to ensure that the system is performing as designed and that all warranties are applicable. A <br />structural analysis will be conducted before the installation begins to ensure that the roof and <br />structure have the proper load ratings. The City’s current roofing engineer (Inspect) will be <br />consulted about the solar panel system. <br /> <br />Mounds View Path and Decorative Pole Lights <br />Replace and retrofit 14 decorative pole lights and 95 park and pathway pole lights with LED <br />lamps and equipment.
