He reported staff had requested RFP’s from six consultants and received four 3 <br />proposals. Staff had reviewed the four proposals and recommended the Council the Public 4 <br />Works Facility Space Needs Study be completed by Ortel Architects. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Flaherty looked forward to seeing the results of the Public Works Space Needs Study. 7 <br /> 8 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller. To Waive the First Reading and Adopt Resolution 9 <br />8461, Approve Public Works Facility Space Needs Study Consultant. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked staff for the detailed information within the staff report 12 <br />that was provided to the Council on this item. 13 <br /> 14 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 15 <br /> 16 <br />E. Items Related to Mustang Drive Street and Utility Improvement Project 17 <br />Assessments: 18 <br />1. Resolution 8463 – Declaring Amount to be Assessed 19 <br /> 20 <br />Public Works Director Erickson discussed the street and utility improvements that were 21 <br />completed on Mustang Drive. He requested the Council adopt a Resolution that would declare 22 <br />the amount to be assessed for the project. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked what kind of feedback staff has received regarding the 25 <br />Mustang Drive improvement project. Public Works Director Erickson commented he had not 26 <br />received any negative feedback. 27 <br /> 28 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8463, 29 <br />Declaring Amount to be Assessed. 30 <br /> 31 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 32 <br /> 33 <br />2. Resolution 8464 – Setting Date and Time for Assessment Hearing. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council set a date and time for the assessment 36 <br />hearing for the Mustang Drive street and utility improvement project. He reported the hearing 37 <br />was scheduled for Monday, October 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. 38 <br /> 39 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause.
