Attached is Resolution 8496, which authorizes severance to Andrew Ronning in accordance with the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement. In accordance with Article 23.1 (A) of the current labor agreement: Upon Separation from employment with the City, employees with less than twenty (20) years of service and leave in good standing will receive a lump-sum taxable severance compensation for all accrued vacation and compensatory time. Discussion Resolution 8496 provides a payout of Andrew Ronning s accrued/unused vacation time. In accordance with Article 23.1, Andrew Ronning is authorized a vacation time payout totaling $867.21. This is calculated as 36.30 accrued/unused vacation hours times his hourly rate of $23.89. Resolution 8496 also provides a payout of Andrew Ronning’s compensatory time. In according with Article 23.1, Andrew Ronning is authorized a compensatory time pay out totaling $83.62. This is calculated as 3.50 compensatory hours times his hourly rate of $23.89. In accordance with the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement, Andrew Ronning is not eligible for a sick time severance payout. Recommendation Staff recommends approving Resolution 8496 in accordance with Article 23.1 of the LELS Local 204 Labor Agreement. Respectfully submitted, _______________________ Desaree Crane
