As part of this goal, a <br />g proposed for the north side of County Road f I between <br />combination sidewalk/bicycle lane is bein <br />Silver Lake Road and Edgewood Drive. Stantec has been authorized by the City to perform final <br />design and prepare bidding documents. As part of this process, a Safe Routes to School (STRS) <br />grant is being applied for. This grant is competitive and if awarded, would cover 80% of the <br />estimated $225,000 construction costs. The grant application is due at the end of this month. <br />One of the many requirements of the SRTS grant application package is a resolution by the City <br />committing to maintain the infrastructure being considered.
