High School Diploma or equivalent GED <br />(B) Post secondary education or training in office management <br />(C) Must possess or be able to obtain State of Minnesota terminal operator’s <br />certification <br />(D) Minimum of two years clerical or records management experience <br />(E) Must pass background investigation <br /> (F) Must type 50 wpm. <br /> <br />DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS <br />(A) Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree. <br />(B) Previous supervisory experience. <br />(C) Previous experience in a law enforcement clerical or administrative position. <br />(D) Knowledge and experience working with social media and website <br />management <br /> <br />NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br />(A) Working knowledge of office procedures, budget/accounting procedures and <br />effective team leadership. <br />(B) Sound knowledge and experience with computer software packages, particularly <br />Microsoft Office systems (i.e. Correl, WP, W ord, Access/Lotus, Excel) and <br />management information systems. <br />(C) Strong business writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff <br />and residents. <br />(D) Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to <br />coordinate department-wide projects, delegating when necessary. <br />(E) Ability to motivate and provide leadership to office staff. <br />(F)(F) Ability to analyze existing policies and programs and to recommend <br />improvements to these systems. Ability to initiate change and implement new <br />processes. <br /> <br />
