Mounds View City Council September 22, 2014 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br />Outlot A. Staff indicated the Planning Commission reviewed this matter on September 17th and 1 <br />recommended approval of the preliminary plat for Multi-Tech Systems. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Acting Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 7:24 p.m. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Hearing no public input, Acting Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Acting Mayor Mueller was pleased that this property was able to receive a right-in only access 8 <br />point from the Ramsey County. 9 <br /> 10 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8305, 11 <br />Consideration of a Preliminary Plat for 2205 Woodale Drive, Multi-Tech Systems. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Council Member Meehlhause was pleased that Multi-Tech would be staying in the City of 14 <br />Mounds View. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Del Palacheck, Multi-Tech Systems, stated Multi-Tech has been a proud member of the 17 <br />community since 1989. He discussed the proposed building in detail with the Council. 18 <br /> 19 <br /> Ayes – 3 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 20 <br /> 21 <br />C. Continued Public Hearing, Resolution 8301, a Resolution to Approve the 22 <br />2015 Fee Schedule. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane requested the Council continue the Public Hearing for the 25 <br />2015 Fee Schedule to allow staff additional time to research neighboring cities fees before 26 <br />making a final recommendation to the City Council. 27 <br /> 28 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Continue the Public Hearing for the 2015 Fee 29 <br />Schedule to the October 13, 2014 City Council meeting. 30 <br /> 31 <br /> Ayes – 3 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 32 <br /> 33 <br />D. First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 889, Revising Chapter 512 of 34 <br />the Mounds View City Code Pertaining to Cigarette and Tobacco Products. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane requested the Council introduce Ordinance 889, which would 37 <br />revise Chapter 512 of the Mounds View City Code pertaining to cigarettes and tobacco products. 38 <br />Staff reviewed the proposed revisions in detail with the Council noting the Second Reading for 39 <br />this Ordinance would be held on October 13th. 40 <br /> 41 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce 42 <br />Ordinance 889, Revising Chapter 512 of the Mounds View City Code Pertaining to Cigarette and 43 <br />Tobacco Products. 44 <br /> 45
