Mounds View City Council March 11, 2013 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br />the City’s department heads. At this retreat, the Council discussed the City’s priorities for 2013 1 <br />and reviewed its mission, vision and value statements. He noted the Council was in favor of 2 <br />narrowing its focus and the County Road 10 corridor has become the City’s priority. Staff 3 <br />recommended the Council approve the 2013 priorities, while also reaffirming the City’s mission, 4 <br />vision and value statements. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Flaherty was pleased with the list of priorities for the upcoming year. He noted the 7 <br />information would be available for the public on the City’s website. 8 <br /> 9 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8075, 10 <br />Approving City Council Priorities for 2013 and Reaffirming the Mission, Vision and Values 11 <br />Statements. 12 <br /> 13 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 14 <br /> 15 <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA 16 <br />A. Resolution 8074, Approving the Purchase of Grouped Mailbox Supplies for 17 <br />2013 Street and Utility Improvement Project – Area F. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Council Member Mueller noted the Resolution was revised from the one sent out to the Council 20 <br />in the packet. 21 <br /> 22 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Approve the Consent Agenda as presented. 23 <br /> 24 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 25 <br /> 26 <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 27 <br /> 28 <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. 29 <br /> 30 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as presented. 31 <br /> 32 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 33 <br /> 34 <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 35 <br /> 36 <br />None. 37 <br /> 38 <br />11. Reports of Mayor and Council. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Council Member Gunn commented the Irondale Robotics Team received first place in a state 42 <br />competition in Duluth this past weekend. She congratulated the team for their accomplishments 43 <br />noting the group would be going to St. Louis, Missouri this spring for a National Competition. 44 <br /> 45
