1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7991 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ORDERING THE ABATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS EXISTING AT 8379 RED OAK DRIVE IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Mounds View has determined that the <br />building at 8379 Red Oak in the City of Mounds View constitutes a hazardous building within the <br />meaning of Minnesota Statutes, Section 463.15, Subd. 3; and <br />WHEREAS, based on the investigation of the Building Official and Housing Inspector it is <br />recommended that the hazardous building be razed and removed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 463.161 and Mounds View Housing Maintenance <br />Code Section 106.5 authorize the governing body of any City or town to correct or remove the <br />hazardous condition of any hazardous building or property; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. The City of Mounds View finds that the building located at 8379 Red Oak Drive in <br />the City of Mounds View legally described in the attached Abatement Order is a hazardous building <br />within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes, Section 463.15, Subd. 3 and Mounds View City Code <br />Chapter 1005. <br /> <br />2. The hazardous building at the foregoing address also constitutes a public nuisance <br />within the meaning of Minnesota Statutes, Section 561.01, 562.01. <br /> <br />3. An Abatement Order substantially similar to that attached hereto as Exhibit “A” shall <br />be served upon all required parties in order to effectuate this resolution and remove the hazardous <br />building on the property. <br /> <br />4.
