<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7748 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON JACKSON DRIVE BETWEEN <br />COUNTY ROAD H2 AND COUNTY ROAD I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 7176 on October 22, 2007 <br />establishing the Street and Utility Improvement Program (Program), which includes nine <br />Street and Utility Improvement Projects identified as Areas A through I; and <br />WHEREAS, Jackson Drive is a non-standard street in Area D of the Program due <br />to it’s Municipal State Aid status; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff and the Street and Utilities Committee recommended that <br />Jackson Drive between County Road H2 and Groberg Street be reconstructed to 32-feet <br />wide, and provide parallel parking on the east side south of Bronson Drive and on the <br />west side north of Bronson Drive, which the City Council approved by adopting Resolution <br />7693 on October 25, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, to be eligible for State Aid funding, Jackson Drive must be signed with <br />“No Parking” or equivalent traffic signs on the sides of the road that do not include the <br />eight-foot parallel parking bays. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Jackson Drive will be signed with “No Parking” or equivalent traffic signs on the west <br />side (southbound traffic) between County Road H2 and Bronson Drive. <br />2.
