Mounds View City Council March 28, 2011 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 7:17 p.m. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Mayor Flaherty questioned if the easements had to be vacated at this time. Planning Associate 3 <br />Heller explained Coventry Senior Living applied for the vacation of the easements apart of the 4 <br />plat process. The City was on the 60 day clock and the easement vacation was one step in the 5 <br />process. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Mayor Flaherty encouraged the City to hold an additional neighborhood meetings regarding the 8 <br />development. Planning Associate Heller indicated this would be up to the developer, as two 9 <br />meetings required were held last summer. City Administrator Ericson explained the City has 10 <br />completed all public input sessions necessary throughout the approval process. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Mayor Flaherty stated he would be in favor of the City holding one additional neighborhood 13 <br />meeting to gain additional feedback on the final plans, and let neighbors know the project was 14 <br />moving forward. 15 <br /> 16 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce Ordinance 17 <br />858, Vacating Easements on 2320 County Road 10 and 5260 O’Connell Drive (as part of the 18 <br />Coventry Senior Living Development). 19 <br /> 20 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 21 <br /> 22 <br />C. 7:15 p.m. Public Hearing to Consider Resolution 7761, Adopting a Special 23 <br />Assessment Levy for Delinquent Public Utility Accounts and Unpaid False 24 <br />Alarm Charges. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Finance Director Beer indicated a property within the City has become delinquent on both their 27 <br />public utility account and false alarm charges. The property owner was notified of the public 28 <br />hearing this evening.
