PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAM <br /> Public Information Program Function and Service Standards <br /> The Public Information Program is responsible for all general and specific informational outreach and <br /> communication efforts made by the City to residents, businesses and other stakeholders. This program <br /> is responsible for half the printing and postage costs of the City Newsletter, as well as the cost and <br /> postage of other promotional material distributed by the City (i.e., the New Residents Guide). <br /> PROGRAM OBJECTIVE <br /> The overall goal of this program is to provide the general public with as much information as possible <br /> to keep them informed and encourage them to participate in activities throughout the community. <br /> 410 <br /> BUDGET IMPACT <br /> Personnel: <br /> Personnel in this program consist of the following: <br /> • Parks and Recreation Administrative Aide <br /> • Personnel Coordinator <br /> • Assistant to the City Administrator/Deputy Clerk <br /> • Economic Development Coordinator <br /> General Expenditures: <br /> General expenditures will increase in 1997 due to the increase in salary due to the reorganization of the <br /> Administration Department. In addition, $2,500 has be transferred from Capital Expenditures to <br /> Professional Services for Internet Services. <br /> B. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN <br /> No capital items are anticipated for this program. <br /> . C. CAPITAL BUDGET <br /> Not applicable. <br />
