purposes of calculating incentive pay. S <br /> 11. The Manager agrees to develop and maintain systems to insure adequate internal <br /> controls and accurate and timely reporting of financial information. Such systems <br /> are subject to the review and approval of the City's Finance Director. <br /> 12. The Manager agrees to devote his full and best efforts to employment as the <br /> Manager and to be in attendance at The Bridges during reasonable hours. The <br /> Manager shall be present, either in person or through assistants, on the golf course <br /> when the course is open for use by the public. The level of staffing shall be <br /> adequate at all times to service the golfing public. <br /> 13. The Manager shall be responsible for operating the pro shop at The Bridges and <br /> will provide the usual services for the sale and repair of golf equipment. <br /> 14. The Manager shall provide all customary services provided by a golf professional <br /> including, but not limited to: <br /> a. Making reservations for tees times in accordance with reasonable policies <br /> developed by the Manager and approved by the City. <br /> b. Collecting fees for the use of the facilities, equipment and merchandise. <br /> c. Establishing starting times and acting as a starter to control the play on the <br /> course. <br /> d. Recruiting and hiring golf rangers, directing the golf rangers by assigning <br /> and scheduling their work, by training them and by monitoring their <br /> performance. <br /> • <br /> e. Scheduling tournaments and leagues and controlling the play on the course <br /> during tournaments and leagues. Maintaining a master engagement book <br /> showing all tournaments and league play. <br /> f. Ruling on disputes as to golf rules,regulations, and etiquette in the play <br /> and use of the course. <br /> g. Maintaining the pro shop in a neat and orderly condition at all times, and <br /> operating the pro shop in a manner so as not to bring undue criticism upon <br /> the City. <br /> h. Stocking and selling golf merchandise, equipment and supplies, and <br /> repairing clubs and other golf equipment for the public using the course. <br /> I. Offering golf lessons to the public as individuals or groups. <br /> 14. The Manager shall be responsible for issuing and collecting proper green fees so <br /> that only players possessing a valid receipt use the course. <br /> 15. The Manager is responsible for daily cleaning of the clubhouse interior. The <br /> Manager shall at all times keep the building in a clean and sanitary condition and <br /> shall comply with all state health laws and regulations. <br /> 16. During the normal golf season,the Manager shall keep the clubhouse open from <br /> sunrise to sunset, except when the golf course is closed to public use. The <br /> clubhouse may open earlier or remain open later depending upon special events, <br /> but only within legally allowable time limits. The Manager shall conduct the <br /> operation of the clubhouse in such a manner as not to bring undue criticism upon <br /> the City. The Manager shall not permit the sale of beer or non-intoxicating malt • <br /> liquor in a manner contrary to any law or ordinance or the provisions of any <br /> applicable liquor license or permit.
