STAFF REPORT <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> JULY 25, 1994 <br /> 6 . A Joint Powers Agreement was signed between the City of <br /> Fridley and the City of Mounds View, stating that Fridley <br /> would administer the project, and Mounds View would be billed <br /> for one half (1/2) , of the construction costs. <br /> 7 . The City of Fridley advertised the project and opened bids on <br /> July 5, 1994 . The low bid received was W.B. Miller Inc. for a <br /> total bid of $236 , 568 . 05 . <br /> 8 . A public informational meeting was held on July 12 , 1994 <br /> to inform the residents of the proposed assessments of <br /> approximately $5 . 00 per foot of curb and gutter, and $500 <br /> for the storm water assessment. Further discussion <br /> included temporary and permanent easements requirements <br /> and unit prices for private driveway replacement. <br /> Residents on Pleasantview Drive have signed a petition requesting <br /> the improvement of the street by widening it with parking lanes, a <br /> new driving surface and curb and gutter. A feasibility study is not <br /> required. The City must consider development of a policy regarding <br /> long side assessments, not only for this project but for all future <br /> projects. <br />
