Consideration of Resolution No. 4603 Regarding Development Review Request of Wolff and <br /> 7 Associates. 4860 Mustang Circle <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, explained the contents of the Development <br /> 10 Review for Wolff and Associates regarding the construction of asquare foot additoin to their <br /> 11 existing facility. Harrington reported that the development meets all requirements of the Municipal <br /> 12 Code as it relates to setbacks, parking and land use. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Trude to Adopt Resolution No. 4603 Approving the Development <br /> 15 request of Wolff and Associates, 4860 Mustang Circle <br /> 16 <br /> 17 VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 18 <br /> 19 F. Consideration of Approval of Expenditure of $35,000 for the Construction of a New Police Parking <br /> 20 Lot and Authorization for the Director of Public Works to Sign Change Orders not to Exceed 10% <br /> 21 <br /> 2 2 Mike Ulrich, Director of Public Works, explained what the project included. Expenditures will be <br /> 23 approximately $35,000. Staff is requesting that this expenditure be funded out of the Silver Lake <br /> 24 Woods Account. <br /> 25 <br /> 2 6 MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Blanchard to Approve the Expenditure of $35,000 for a <br /> 27 New Police Departmentt Parking Lot to be Funded by the Silver Lake Woods <br /> 28 Account and Authorize the Director of Public Works to Sign Changes Orders Not to <br /> 29 Exceed 10% of the Entire Project <br /> 30 <br /> 31 VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 32 <br /> 3 3 G. Consideration of Resolution No. 4607 Declaring Insufficient the Initiative Petition Proposing to <br /> 34 Limit the Number of Total Terms for Which a Person Could File for the Office of Mayor or City <br /> 35 Council <br /> 36 <br /> 3 7 Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, stated that the Assistant to the City Administrator was given <br /> 38 a petition on Friday, July 15 by an unidentified person who just requested that the envelope be <br /> 39 date stamped. Orduno stated the processing of this Petition was completed with the procedures <br /> 40 outlined in the City Charter. Orduno reported that based on the lack of required signatures and <br /> 41 missing circulator oath of verification, the Petition is "insufficient" under Chapter 5, Sections 5.02 <br /> 42 and 5.03 of the City Charter. Orduno explained that the topic of the peition is currently under <br /> 43 discussion by the Charter Commission. <br /> 44 <br /> 4 5 Mayor Linke stated that the petition does not follow along with the Charter at all. <br /> 46 The petitioners are not listed on the document, nor is it notarized. <br />
