UNAPPROVED <br /> 1 Mounds View City Council Page Four <br /> 2 Regular Meeting July 25, 1994 <br /> 3 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Mayor Linke stated that the building permits would be released in <br /> 7 conjunction with the release of the cash escrow. Harrington explained <br /> 8 that the Council would have to sign off on the Development Agreement and <br /> 9 release the cash escrow. Harrington stated that there are disagreements <br /> 10 as to the finishing of the project. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Harstad stated that Harstad needs two lots as there are homeowners <br /> 13 wanting to get in and their accounts could be lost if delayed further. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Mayor Linke stated that at the August 8, 1994 Work Session the Council <br /> 16 can call to order if all Councilmembers are present and approve the <br /> 17 Development Agreement and release of cash escrow if the punch list is <br /> 18 complete. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Councilmember Trude asked how many lots were left. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Harstad indicated that all lots are sold to buyers. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Mayor Linke encouraged Ms. Harstad to work with Paul Harrington and <br /> 25 the Council could call to order August 8, 1994 to approve the Development <br /> 26 Agreement and release of cash escrow. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Councilmember Trude asked if July 1st was the date and it was because <br /> 29 of problems that came up on the site. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Harstad stated her disappointment with the City Council putting off <br /> 32 Harstad Company for another two weeks. Mayor Linke stated that until <br /> 33 he had a report from staff on the completion of the punch list he would <br /> 34 not feel comfortable voting. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Bill Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road, stated that the Lions promised the <br /> 37 marching bands in the parade a hot dog and refreshment after the parade. <br /> 38 Frits stated that he wasn't looking forward to serving them as he has <br /> 39 heard all the bad things the young people are doing these days. Frits <br /> 40 stated that there were 285 young people who waited patiently in line and <br /> 41 conducted themselves in a very admirable fashion. Frits wanted to make <br /> 42 it known that the Lion's Club and he as a citizen has a better feeling of <br /> 43 the young people. Frits requested that a special letter of gratitude for <br /> 44 behavior should be sent to the young people for their admirable behavior <br /> 45 at the Festival. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> 48 <br /> 49 7: 05 p.m. Consideration of Curb and Gutter and Storm Sewer Construction <br /> 50 on County Road H2 and County Road I <br /> 51 <br /> 52 Mike Ulrich, Director of Public Works, gave an overview of the background <br /> 53 the turnback and reconstruction of Pleasantview Drive. <br /> 54 <br />
