Night and a dinner mystery theater production. One CPA firm had a hospitality
room but charged admission!
• Samantha and I are busy working on a special budget edition of the City
Newsletter. It is scheduled to go out about a week and one-half before the
October 24 Public Information Meeting on the 1995 Budget.
• Jerry Skelly, Jr. and I are working on a budget video. We are planning a "new
and improved" version that should be much shorter than previous ones. Our
goal is 7-8 minutes in length.
Don
POLICE
* The investigators are very busy. Four new cases of criminal
sexual conduct were reported in the last week. Otherwise, nothing big
to report, still keeping busy with the day to day stuff.
* The parking lot lights and electrical outlets are installed.
They are still working on the sprinkler system. Looking better and
better everyday.
* We ordered two new radar units, they should be delivered any day
now. Also we are upgrading some of sirens in the marked vehicles. The
upgrades should be completed by next week.
* During the incident involving the juveniles and the guns, one of
our squads was damaged. Damage was to the underside of the vehicle.
Cost of repair $2420.00. Squad is repaired and back in service.
Tim R.
PUBLIC WORKS
* Mike is attending the National APWA Conference in Chicago this week.
