Consideration of Adoption of Ordinance No. 548 "Land Subdivisions" <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, explained that <br /> 24 at the September 12 , 1994 City Council Meeting, Ordinance No. 548 <br /> 25 was formally introduced by the Council. Harrington reported that <br /> 26 this ordinance is presented again for consideration of formal <br /> 27 adoption. Harrington stated that the ordinance would amend the <br /> 28 Subdivision Regulations to require that all contiguously owned <br /> 29 property be included in Plat applications. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Blanchard to Adopt Ordinance No. 548, "Land <br /> 32 Subdivisions" <br /> 33 <br /> 34 ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> 35 Mayor Linke - yes <br /> 36 Councilmember Quick - yes <br /> 37 Councilmember Wuori - yes <br /> 38 Councilmember Trude - absent <br /> 39 Councilmember Blanchard - yes <br /> 40 <br /> 41 VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 42 <br /> 43 D. Consideration of Preliminary Plat, Sherwood Estates <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, reported that <br /> 46 Citywide Developers made application to the City Council for a Major <br /> 47 Subdivision calling for 17 single family lots to be located <br /> 48 northeast of the Spring Lake Road/Highway 10 intersection. <br /> 49 Harrington reported that the proposed development would be partially <br /> 50 services by a cul-de-sac to be constructed at the expense of the <br /> 51 applicant. Harrington further reported that staff had reviewed the <br /> 52 proposal and found that it met the general intent of the Municipal <br /> 53 Code, however, the possible need for storm water control ponding to <br /> 54 service the development needed to be addressed. <br />
