FINANCE <br /> • The budget video has been completed. This year's video is much shorter <br /> than last years. It is approximately 6 and 1/2 minutes in length. The video <br /> will be run on the public access channel on the hour Thursday through <br /> Sunday. <br /> • Kitty Hickok has completed entering all of our fixed assets into our new fixed <br /> asset accounting software system. Kitty reports that we have 709 fixed <br /> assets. <br /> • Dorothy Peterson is busy entering meter readings in the utility billing system. <br /> Third quarter bills will then be prepared and should be mailed out at the end <br /> of the month. <br /> • Samantha and I are busy preparing for a presentation on the City's budget <br /> process for a Ramsey County League of Local Governments(RCLLG) meeting <br /> that the City is hosting on Wednesday October 19, 1994. <br /> Don <br /> POLICE <br /> * Lt. Brick met two groups in the last week. One group was from the <br /> Townsedge Trailer Pk.,the other from the Silverview Townhouse Assc. <br /> Crime prevention and police activities were the main topics discussed. <br /> * A juvenile was arrested in a stolen car. Officers Kinney and <br /> Geringer were slightly injured subduing the suspect. <br /> * Last Friday, a male suspect brutally beat up a female. The <br /> incident occurred in the trailer park. The suspect was chase and <br /> ultimately arrested inside Wolf and Associates. He is being charged <br /> with 1st degree burglary <br /> * The Chief attended a Ramsey Co. Chief's Meeting. New booking <br /> procedures and training were the main topics. <br />
