* Officer Anderson arrested a female runaway. During the arrest he <br /> was kicked and hit. The suspect was charge with assault. <br /> * Our Department is hosting a "use of force" training class at the <br /> Bel-Rae. All of our officers and many officers from Ramsey Co. Police <br /> Department are attending. <br /> * You may remember during the September work session of an accident <br /> involving a burning car. The accident occurred at Co. Rd. I & Silver <br /> Lk. Rd. A man was pulled from vehicle just prior to it becoming fully <br /> engulfed. The two people that assisted the man are being sent letters <br /> of commendations from our department. <br /> * Yesterday, a parole violator from Oak Park Heights was arrested. <br /> The incident occurred near our maintenance bldg. on Bronson Dr. Lt. <br /> Brick and Officer Koopmeiners made the arrest and remove a loaded <br /> pistol from the suspect waistband. The suspect was jailed an is <br /> awaiting Federal charges. <br /> * A number of employee's have taken some vacation the last couple of <br /> weeks. Larry S.,Dave B.,Tim R.,Tom B., and Linda M. are sneaking in a <br /> day or two, here and there. <br /> Tim R. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS <br /> * Gary Kardell and Tim Fredberg participated in the 4th Annual MSSA/MPWA <br /> Snow Roadeo this week. Wally, Larry, Tracy and myself worked on the course <br /> with judging and scoring. <br /> * Staff is meeting with Dan Schaat from Ramsey County regarding the Pinewood - <br /> County Road I storm sewer issue on Wednesday. <br /> * The final asphalt course is scheduled to be laid on Pleasant View Drive on <br /> Wednesday weather permitting. The project went very well, and will be <br /> completed well within the allotted time. The City will be responsible for the road <br /> after completion. <br /> * Tracy is back at work full time now. Everyone here is very glad to have her <br /> back. <br />
