Minutes of the Economic Development Commission <br /> City of Mounds View <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota \\C 4 <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> August 25, 1994 <br /> City Hall <br /> 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br /> 1. Call to Order: <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:12 p.m. by City of Mounds View Economic Development <br /> Coordinator, Cathy Bennett, since there was not an elected Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson at the <br /> time. <br /> 2. Roll Call: <br /> Members present were as follows: Rosemary Goff, Mark Malone, Peg Mountin, Dan Nelson, Ron <br /> Schmidt, Phil Seipp, and Delane Welsch. In addition, EDA liaison Gary Quick and Economic <br /> Development Coordinator Cathy Bennett were present. <br /> 3. Approval Of Minutes: <br /> There were no minutes for approval. <br /> 4. EDC Business <br /> A. Election of Chairperson,Vice Chairperson and Secretary. <br /> Member Delane Welsch was nominated to serve as EDC Chairperson and member Ron <br /> Schmidt was nominated to serve as EDC Vice-Chairperson for 1994. It was proposed that <br /> Secretary duties be voluntarily rotated by members of the Commission at each EDC <br /> meeting. <br /> 7 ayes o nays <br /> Motion Carried <br /> B. Consideration of Resolution EDC94-1 Establishing Calendar of Meeting Dates for 1994. <br /> Coordinator Bennett explained that according to Municipal Code Chapter 408.07, <br /> Subdivision 2, the Commission shall hold one regular meeting a month to be fixed by <br /> resolution. <br /> Commissioner Mountin noted that the Planning Commission typically adds a submission <br /> date for materials from the public to allow staff enough time to prepare the agenda and <br /> it would be appropriate to have a submission date for the EDC as well. <br /> 1 <br />
