COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT
BEL AIR BUILDERS/MIDWEST I.V.
Staff met this past week with Jim Winkels of Bel Air Builders who is working as the
project representative on the development project north of the golf course (Midwest
I.V.). The purpose of the meeting was to establish what issues remained to be
discussed in-regards to-the-project ander timeline for-those-discussions.Mr_Winkels
will be submitting the information Staff requested and discussion is anticipated to take
place at the August 2, 1995 Planning Commission meeting. The City Council can
expect to see the project proposal at the August 7, 1995 work session.
PAUL H. ON VACATION
I will be on vacation from July 13th through the 30th - taking a long trip in the BWCA
and Quetico Provincial Park in Canada. Following that, some R&R at the family cabin
and a lot of golf.
Paul H.
POLICE
The Chief attended a Chief's meeting this week. Police training was the main
topic.
The severe heat is tough on equipment. We have had a squad in for repair for
over a week.
Bob Nelson went into the hospital this week. He will be out a undetermined
amount of time.
The PD lost to the Fire Dept. again this year in the annual softball game. We
all agreed that we should practice at least once for next year's game.
Tim R.
