RESOLUTION NO. 4832 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION APPROVING REZONING REQUEST BY GARY KRIG/FRAN DEGROSS, PLANNING CASE NO. 422-95 WHEREAS, Gary Krig and Fran Degross have made application to rezone the property located at 5497 Adams Street from B-2 , Limited Business to B-3 , Highway Commercial; and WHEREAS, the property is legally known as: The West 54 feet and the South 16 feet of Lot 1, Block 4 and; the East 30 feet of the North 1/2 of Lot 4, Block 4 and; all of Lot 2 , Block 4 ; All in Spring Lake Park Highlands; and WHEREAS, Chapter 1125. 01, Subdivision 1 (e) of the Mounds View Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall consider possible adverse effects of the proposed amendment. It further states that judgement shall be based upon, but not limited to, the following factors: 1. Relationship to Municipal Comprehensive Plan 2 . The geographical area involved 3 . Whether such use will tend to or actually depreciate the area in which it is proposed 4 . The character of the surrounding area 5. The demonstrated need for such use; and WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed the request in relation to the aforementioned criteria; and WHEREAS, the rezoning request is consistent with the criteria established for judging the merits of a rezoning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves the request to rezone the property legally known as: The West 54 feet and the South 16 feet of Lot 1, Block 4 and; the East 30 feet of the North 1/2 of Lot 4 , Block 4 and; all of Lot 2 , Block 4 ; All in Spring Lake Park Highlands from B-2 , Limited Business to B-3 , Highway Commercial.
