FINANCE
• Dawn Postudensek, Sue Henry, & I have been working on a video presentation
of the 1996 Budget. We plan to update the section about City services
provided & hopefully to shorten the video to approximately five minutes. Our
goal is to air the video on cable two weeks prior to the Budget Hearing.
• Dorothy Peterson is busy preparing utility bills. The bills will be mailed
this week.
• Don Brager will be on vacation November 3 & November 6.
Don
PUBLIC WORKS
GOOD NEWS! By using the "Peak-Control" Program with NSP, the City saved
$23,028.56 in electrical costs this year! Attached is a copy of the letter
received from Barb Biren, Electric Sales Representative with NSP siting those
savings.
* We've had a few residents come in and borrow the boulevard marking stakes.
With the recent snow fall, I have feeling more residents will be in.
* Gary Kardell is on vacation from Nov. 1 to the 13.
* The installation of the Phoneread System is going along pretty smoothly.
We've had a few minor problems, leaks, but all are being resolved immediately
when we get the call from the resident. WaterPro (Ed and Paul) have been
very accommodating and easy to work with.
* The guys are getting the equipment and vehicles ready for winter. Cleaning up
cold storage and the shop.
Tracy
