PUBLIC EMPLOYEES INSURANCE PROGRAM (PEIP)
On Wednesday, Samantha, Don, Kitty and I met with a representative of PEIP to further
discuss the Health, Dental and Life insurance plans. It is customary for the City to
periodically compare rate and benefits to insure the City is receiving the best value possible.
As mentioned at the teambuilding session, Kitty and I did an analysis of the current benefits
to the PEIP plan and the cost savings could be significant with little or no change in benefits
coverage. We already have a list of requests.
* Re-keying Random Park building - with other park buildings following will be
accomplished as time allows.
* Storage shelves are being constructed at Silver View Park picnic shelter
storage room. This room is used for athletic equipment and is stuffed to the
gills with balls, bats, bases, helmets, etc. Shelving will provide a more
organized and better maintained inventory of youth athletic equipment.
RECREATION:
* The Festival Committee had a long two hour meeting Wednesday, January 18.
Seventeen people of the community including business persons, residents,
