FINANCE
• The Budget Book went to the printer this week. A special thank you to Dorothy
Peterson, who made certain that all the Program Narratives and Resource
Allocation Sheets had the same format, and who also found and corrected
many, many incorrect spellings and other errors. Also thank you's to: Kitty
Hickok and Mary Tatarek for proof reading budget numbers; Lynnette Morgan
for numbering pages; Sharie Linke for cover designs and graphics; and to all
budget preparers for all of their efforts in our successful conversion to a new
budget format.
• Dorothy Peterson, when not working on the Budget Book, is preparing the 4th
Quarter 1994 Utility Billing. Bills will be mailed at the end of the month.
• Kitty Hickok finished up year end payroll reporting. Employee W-2 Forms were
distributed so we all can begin working on our tax returns (ugh!).
• Mary Tatarek is busy with year end procedures and is also beginning to
allocate 1994 and 1995 invoices to the proper year.
Don
POLICE
* Investigator Nelson attended a three day seminar this week. The Seminar topic
was questioning and interrogations of suspects and witnesses.
* Officer Chambers spent the last week in Arizona, visiting with
his sons.
* The Golden Glove Banquet was held at the Bel-Rae this week. Two
of our officers worked the event and reported no trouble.
* Officer Baumgart was busy this week. In addition to his DARE
duties, he made two drug arrests. One was at Woodcrest Park, the
other at Brooks Superette.
* Last Thursday, the Chief attended the Ramsey Co. Chief's meeting.
Many topics were discussed. Computer consolidation and squad car
markings were discussed in detail.
Tim R.
