In 1994, Mr. Linder operated a similar greenhouse at
Mounds View Square; however, at the request of the property owner
and a desire on the part of the applicant, the location of the
operation on the property would be different. The new location of
the greenhouse would be immediately adjacent to Hwy. 10 and there
are no foreseen problems with this new location. The Planning
Commission has reviewed this case and is recommending approval.

Harrington cited the two conditions that were stated in the
Resolution and mentioned that the applicant has agreed to abide by
the restrictions regarding hours of operation.

Councilmember Blanchard asked if there was a possibility of a
traffic problem being created by cars pulling off Hwy. 10 to get to
this operation.

Harrington explained that, because of the distance between Hwy. 10
and the parking lot, there should be no traffic problems.

Linke asked if there were any comments from the residents. There
were none.

Mayor Linke closed the public hearing at 7: 12 p.m.
