and marketing. <br /> * A Statewide Playground Leader's Workshop was held Thursday, June 8. <br /> Eight of the Cities' playground leaders attended the Workshop. <br /> * City park facilities are booked solid during the summer with group <br /> reservations at picnic facility locations including City Hall, Silver View Park <br /> and Lakeside Park. <br /> FORESTRY: <br /> * Rick's crew landscaped the Clubhouse with shrubs and bushes this week. <br /> Rick as also arranged for pines-to be planted along with larger trees f or <br /> visual buffers and protective buffers along the parking lot and Highway 118. <br /> Large Amur Maples will be planted along the first two fairways for visual <br /> barriers. <br /> CABLE TV: <br /> * Jerry is packing up for his move to a full time position. <br /> The advertisement for the position should be in the newspaper this weekend. <br /> Jerry is making an inventory of the video library. He is also preparing <br /> information for the new person, equipment manuals, etc. Staff is getting <br /> some quick information regarding tape changes, monitor entry, etc. to make <br /> it through the next couple of weeks. <br /> GOLF COURSE: <br /> * Beautification projects are being completed including landscaping, flower <br /> pots, additional cedar fencing, signage, etc. in preparation of the Grand <br /> Opening. The Clubhouse has received retail merchandise.
