PUBLIC WORKS <br /> * Silver Lake Pointe Apartments - Bill Hanson shut the water off on March 23, <br /> 8 a. m. so the contractor could hook up to the water. Bill talked to Burger <br /> King on March 22 and informed them that water was going to be shut off _ <br /> from 9:30 a.m. to about 11 :30am, so this would not affect their breakfast <br /> crowd. Burger King asked if it could be shut off earlier, because that time <br /> zone would be getting into their lunch crowd and that they would rather lose <br /> part of their breakfast crowd than lunch crowd! <br /> * Tim Pittman has started to modify and work on the new DARE vehicle. <br /> * Mark has been "brooming" off the excess sand on the blvds of Long Lake <br /> Road and County Road I this week. Ramsey County will be sweeping their <br /> streets beginning Monday, March 27. (A lot of sand accumulates on these <br /> blvds during the winter season.) <br /> * Gary and Tim F. have been working on the pavement mgmt program; rating <br /> some of the streets. <br /> * Larry and Wally are cleaning sewer this week. (In between schooling and <br /> seminars.) <br /> Mike <br /> COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT <br /> SENIOR HOUSING PROJECT ROAD EXTENSION <br /> Staff will be meeting with representatives of SEH next week to begin plans for the <br /> upgrade of the access drive next to the Silver Lake Pointe Senior Housing Project. <br /> As you will recall, at the time the project was reviewed, the City agreed to overlay <br /> the portion of Mounds View Drive north of County Road I in order to provide a <br /> quality access for emergency vehicles should they need to enter the back side of <br />
