RESOLUTION NO. 4739 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING THE 1994 COMPENSATION AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR POLICE OFFICERS UNION, TEAMSTER'S LOCAL 320, AND PUBLIC WORKS BARGAINING UNIT PERSONNEL WHEREAS, in 1994, the City and members of the Minnesota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement Employees Union, Local 320 could not reach an agreement on the 1994 Contract; and WHEREAS, consistent with State law, it was mutually decided to enter into binding arbitration to settle the 1994 Contract issues; and WHEREAS, the Arbitration Award provided for a 2 . 95% wage increase. for 1994; and WHEREAS, the Award further provided for the City contribution to family health insurance to increase $10 in 1994, from $300 to $310; and WHEREAS, in 1994, the members of the Public Works Bargaining unit agreed. to abide by the Arbitration Award granted the members of the Police Union; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to process 1994 compensation adjustments and insurance contribution amounts for the members of the Police Union, Local 320 and the members of the Public Works Bargaining Unit in a timely manner; and WHEREAS, it is determined that the 1995 compensation and other Contract issues will be finalized in Contract form and submitted for Council approval on April 10, 1995. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City of Mounds View does hereby approve the 1994 compensation adjustment of 2 . 95% to members of the Police Union, Local 320 and Public Works Bargaining Units with an effective date of January 1, 1994 as indicated in the attached Schedule A; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT, the City Council does hereby approve` the 1994 City contribution to health insurance in the amount of $310/month, an increase of $10/month from the 1993 contribution amount, effective January 1, 1994 .
