(Ord. <br /> 506 , 4-27-92) <br /> 1301 . 05 : COMPLIANCE WITH PROVISIONS: <br /> No structure or land shall hereafter be used and no structure <br /> shall be located, extended, converted or structurally altered <br /> without full compliance with the terms of this Chapter and other <br /> applicable regulations which apply to uses within the <br /> jurisdiction of this Chapter. (Ord. 506, 4-27-92) <br /> 1301 . 06 : ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: <br /> A Zoning Administrator designated by the City Council' shall <br /> • administer and enforce this Chapter. If he finds a violation of <br /> the provisions of this Chapter, he shall notify the person <br /> responsible for such violation and order the action necessary to <br /> correct it. (Ord. 506, 4-27-92) <br /> 1301. 07 : BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS: <br /> A Board of Adjustment and Appeals is established as provided in <br /> Title 1100 of the Municipal Code2. <br /> Subd. 1. Powers; Adoption Rules: The Board of Adjustment and <br /> Appeals shall adopt rules for the conduct of business and may <br /> exercise all of the powers conferred on such boards by State <br /> l aw3. <br /> Subd. 2 . Administrative Review: The Board shall hear and decide <br /> appeals where it is alleged there is error in any order, <br /> requirement, decision or determination made by an administrative <br /> official in the enforcement or administration of this Chapter. <br /> Subd. 3 . Variances: The Board may authorize, upon appeal in <br /> specific cases, such variance from the terms of this Chapter as <br /> will not be contrary to the public interest, where, owing to <br /> special conditions, literal enforcement of the provisions of the <br /> Chapter will result in unnecessary hardship so that the spirit of <br /> the Chapter shall be observed and substantial justice done. No <br /> variance shall have the effect of allowing in any district uses <br /> prohibited in that district, permit a lower degree of flood <br /> protection than the regulatory flood protection elevation for the <br /> particular area or permit standards lower than those required by <br /> 1 .
