<br />Item No: 08C <br />Meeting Date: February 8, 2010 <br />Type of Business: CA <br />Administrator Review : ____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Desaree Crane, Assistant City Clerk-Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 7577 Revising the 2010 Fee Schedule <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The City Council passed Resolution 7530, which approved the 2010 Fee Schedule, on <br />November 23, 2009. Staff is requesting revisions to the 2010 Fee Schedule. Attached are <br />the revisions. Revisions to the Fee Schedule are highlighted in red and blue. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />Staff is requesting to have the following revisions be made to the 2010 Fee Schedule: <br /> <br />1. Under Miscellaneous Fees, Staff is requesting to add the 50th Anniversary <br />Mounds View Cookbook and the Mounds View History Book. Each book will <br />cost $5. <br /> <br />2. Under Police/Administration Offenses, Staff is requesting to add the following <br />Animal Impoundment Fees: <br /> <br />$25 1st violation within 12 months <br />$50 2nd violation within 12 months <br />$75 3rd and subsequent violations within 12 months <br /> <br />3. Under Mounds View Athletic Field Fees, the Park, Recreation and Forestry <br />Commission is requesting to revise the time block for athletic field <br />reservations from 55 minutes to 4 hours. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff is recommending adding these fees and revisions to the 2010 Fee Schedule. If <br />approved, Staff will post the revised 2010 Fee Schedule on the City’s website.
